Name: Ferenta
Species: Unknown, some type of special wolf perhaps?
Age: 16 (in human years)
Gender: Female
Orientation: Bisexual
Appearance: Wolf-like, with a green chinese dragon type marking on her left side. She has green hair, a green front neck, white back neck, blue speckling across her back with white mixed in, a blue belly, green and blue speckled sides of her face, green ears, blue eyes, white in the middle of her legs, grey at the bottom of all except her hind left leg, a blue belly, and a tail that is striped like this: White, green, blue, dark grey, white. Her claws are black, and she wears a black color with red spikes. Her left front leg has a rainbow colored arm cuff, and she has white fangs poking out of her mouth. Her paw pads are black, and she has yellow hooped ear and tail rings. Her chest is green on the top right, and is blue the rest with a white moon shaped symbol that looks like a "U".
Personality: Arrogant, flamboyant, overconfident, and bossy - Ferenta is a force to be reckoned with. She is a natural born leader, and can get upset when not given the lead. She hates taking orders, going to the point of completely ignoring you if you even try. She often snarls, growls, snaps, or looks solemn. Seeing her smile is a very rare thing, but beautiful. She often taunts others about their size, knowing that she herself is rather well-muscled. It takes quite a bit of convincing for her to open up to you, but once she does you see her true traits. Underneath her tough exterior lies a caring, lovable, and humorous individual. She is very loyal, and once you've proven your trust she will stick with you until the very end! She will often hide her true feelings, and has a hard time talking to others in this way. This may make you mistake her for stuck-up or self-centered, when in reality she does really care - she just doesn't know how to show it. She often likes hanging out with others, although she doesn't mind being alone either.
History: Ferenta is a rebel. Always has been, always will. Born into a long line of a wolf-species of unknown origins, she was one of the rare pups known as "Drageers." Why? No one knows of their true genetics, but it is known that they are only born once every decade - and they have a special meaning in life that they must follow. In no way can they break this code, for if they do there is only one punishable fate: death. Ferenta, however? She didn't want to be born into this world of "protectiveness" and "kindness" that each Drageer must to follow. Every decade, once a new Drageer had been born, the old one would retire and take their long needed rest. They were meant to watch over their safe meadow, living in harmony with the other inhabitants. These individuals were recognized by a dragon-like mark on their left side, distinguishing themselves from everyone else. At the age of ten, the ceremony would be held and they would be given the title of "Head Drageer" for the next ten years.
When this day came, Ferenta would have none of it.
"No! I will not become the Head Drageer, father. I want to go out into the world... haven't you ever wondered if there was more besides this boring life? I want to go see and do things! Maybe even make some friends, unlike the bozos here..." Ferenta fought with her father in a defiant tone, two hours before the ceremony.
"Ferenta, you must do this - you have to. It's your destiny, and you should be proud!" He argued back, growling in annoyance.
"Father, I won't. I could never do this, it isn't for me." His daughter looked him in the eyes, as a look of despair came over his face. "Goodbye."
At that moment, Ferenta began running as fast as she could, ignoring her father's pleas. She had one motive: to escape and get away from this place forever. She ran for what felt like days as guards ran after her from the valley, threatening to kill her as they did so, but thankfully Drageers had a unique trait: They could run much faster than others of those species.
Finally, she didn't hear anyone else coming after her. She stopped, her ears pricked as she listened to the sounds around her, and thankfully none of them were tainted with guard cries. Slowly but surely, a smirk crossed her face, as she realized she was free.
Although she is always worried in the back of her mind that she is still being followed, she now pursues a life of traveling and adventure. Following danger wherever she can, as well as being a secret hero of sorts, she is living the life of her dreams. She never stays in one place for too long, although there is always one place she returns too: Pitala.
Here she met her best friend Alazi, a special rainbow wolf. A long story of trust, faith, and courage, it was simply meant to be. They travel together now, balancing each other out in unique ways, but they always have a habit of returning to the place they met when it comes time for a break.
"Ferenta, why do you think we met?" Alazi asks curiously one day, ears flattened and a small smile on her face as she looks at her friend.
Looking into the distance, Ferenta replies with this: "If you want the truth, I honestly don't know. However, as crazy as I may sound, I believe it may have been... destiny." She smiles, looking back at her friend with glimmering eyes before they continue cuddling, looking at the sunset from under their cherry blossom tree.
