Name: Shasta
Species: Velociraptor
Orientation: Straight(?)
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Mate: N/A
Appearance: Teal colored scales; green plates and furred arms; bumpy scales on top of her arms and clawed hands; large white toed feet; more green bumpy scales on feet; green eyes; green splotches on back.
Personality: Crafty, quick, and clever are the only three words you need to know about Shasta. She is witty, and always has something snappy and sneaky to say. She loves to hunt, and sometimes likes to "play" with her food for fun. I wouldn't go so far to say that she has many friends. She's not quite a teenager, yet not on adult status either, although she sometimes seems to have a kiddish nature to her. She loves to make trouble, and although she isn't super popular with others, due to her almost bully-like demeanor, she can have a soft side... sometimes. It's rare, but there.
History: Shasta was born into a family with one sister, and a brother. The latter of which was very rough, which is probably where she inherited her spirit (she was the youngest of them all, as they hatched at different times). Her sister was a sweetheart, who she often bullied. Her parents encouraged her personality to grow even more atrocious, as that was a very noble thing for velociraptors to live up to, in their opinion. Sadly, this also meant that her younger sis was pushed to the side, and often neglected. Her brother was jealous, as Sasha was the golden child. She got what she wanted, when she wanted, and wouldn't have it any other way. This eventually led to a traumatic experience, which still has left her scarred to this day.
One day, her brother urged her to come with him... he said he was going to "take her somewhere special." She believed him, but she soon found out that he had completely different plans - he was going to try and drown her! "Go in the water", he said. "It will be fine", he said. So she did. She soon found out a fact she had never known - velociraptors couldn't swim. Well, at least she couldn't, anyways.
She still doesn't know what happened, but she awoke on the shore after blanking out for who knows how long. Her brother had disappeared, and she couldn't remember how to get home. She was now on her own from that day forth. She still has a terrible fear of water, and still mistrusts people to this day.
