Name: Tootsie Spots
Age: 19
Species: Mixed; Cheetah primarily
Orientation: Straight(?)
Gender: Female
Mate: N/A
Appearance: Yellow fur covering the body mainly, with a white belly. Her hair is a chestnut brown, and her eyes are a warm brown. She has a marking on her back that is blue and shaped slightly like a dragon, and her paw pads are blue with yellow spots and vice versa. Her legs have blue zebra stripes and spots, the end of her tail is solid blue, and she has various spots on her sides, lower back, and arms. She also has zebra stripes on either sides of her mouth, and her arms and toes are solid blue, as well as her nose and under her eyes. She has long claws on both her feet and hands, and is anthro. Her fur is rather thin overall, but in certain spots (such as her tail and the ends of her elbows) it is long and thick. The tips of her ears are also blue, while the inside is white along with under her chin.
Personality: Spunky and playful, Tootsie can be very funny at times. She has a sense of humor that can sometimes get her in trouble, and although not the most attentive of animals she is very lovable. She has a flaunting side to her, however, and can often be seen hitting on guys and making appearances at random places because of this. She is very cuddly and loves to hug, and if you didn't know better you may mistake her for being much younger than she really is! Hardly ever seen without a smile on her face, she is a joy to be around and is always the first to make the best of a poor situation. However, without attention she can get jealous and irritated easily, so watch out!
At first glance she may come off as a tad arrogant and prideful, but if you dig deeper you can tell that she only means good fun and loves to make friends wherever she goes! She may be a bit shy at first, but this is rare as she usually loves making new friends. She hates conflict, and always tries to resolve it in any way she can - although a good trait, this can often cause her to feel overwhelmed and get upset. The same happens if people tell her she needs to "grow up," and she can be hurt rather easily in this way. She's very caring, and although loyal for the most part, she can often get a bit sidetracked at times and may need to be reminded of what is most important. Because of this, she is often compared to being like a young child who needs to be watched over carefully.
History: Raised in a family with many children (ten total!) and being the youngest, Tootsie often was pushed to the side. Because of this, she practically raised herself - with the help of her many siblings, however. She was always an interesting child, getting obsessed with the strangest things and being as carefree as could be. She loved nature, and always longed to go out on adventures - much to her displeasure, she hated it when her parents shooed her back inside the den and told her to give up on her dreams, due to them "being too dangerous and reckless." This didn't stop Tootsie, however, and only fueled her fire more.
As a teenager, she only became more curious about the outside world, but was always ushered back home where it was "safe." She was the odd child, unlike her many siblings who were perfectly comfortable with their easy lives - but Tootsie was different. She finally gained the courage to ask her parents permission to leave home and travel the world, which they quickly dismissed. This infuriated Tootsie, and she finally made her final decision: She was going to leave no matter what, and that was that. Secretly packing her few belongings, for the next few weeks she decided that she was going to run away on her own. One night she carefully left, with only a short note to her parents and siblings in reply. She never saw them again, nor had any wish to - although she sometimes wonders how they are doing in secret.
From here, Tootsie found out that the world wasn't all it was cracked up to be. She learned how cruel people were, how harsh the outside world was, and the difficulties of just staying alive. She walked from town to town, area to area with only her small knapsack until all her food and the little money she had was gone, and finally collapsed in a small forest one day. She slept for who knows how long, when finally she awoke - only to find that someone had shaken her awake, and was asking if she was alright. Still dazed, starving, and tired she followed them to their home. Here, the man taught her all she needed to know about the world in only a day, and once again sent her on her way. She never even caught his name.
She now has learned how to do odd jobs on her travels, making just enough money to keep her going. She loves traveling, and can't imagine living any other way - although she sometimes misses her family, she is much happier now the way she's living and doesn't regret it a single bit. She has made friends along her travels, some of which she visits on a regular basis. She rests wherever she can, whether it be in a tree or in a small inn. Although still carefree as can be, and often running into trouble, she views the world through childlike eyes. And that is a beautiful - yet rare - thing.
